This is what this article will tell us about so that we can be more informed about such dreams.

So, let’s go

What is The Spiritual Meaning Of Waking Up From A Dream Crying

The spiritual meaning of waking up from a dream crying is that you are about to face certain temptations that will change your whole future.

It can also mean that your spiritual side is more awakened than most people, and you just received a direct message from your spirit.

This type of dream must be handled rightly, as you got the message in a dream that left you crying after you woke up, it should be handled also with care.

What is The Biblical meaning of waking up from a dream crying?

According to the bible waking up crying from dream can mean that we have gotten a direct warning message from God.

God usually uses such dreams to give us a warning about what is about to happen or even to communicate with us about our future.

Let us use verses from the bible to better explain:

Acts 2:17, In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”

The Bible has already stated that we will have dreams that carry messages.

It is worth mentioning that such messages can be so weighty, so much that when we wake up, we still find ourselves crying over what we just saw.

This is somehow similar to the Biblical Meaning of itchy feet.

Why do you wake up from dream crying

The reason you wake up from your dream crying is that you just had a pure spiritual dream.

This is not your usual type of dream or nightmare.

In some cases, you might not even be able to remember what dream you had that was making you cry after you woke up.

This can happen because such a dream was a message made for your spirit, you are only allowed to remember fragments of such a dream.

What Can Make You Wake Up From Your Dream Crying?

There are different things that can cause you to wake up from a dream crying.

This can be because;

  • You lost someone in the dream
  • You were running away from an attack in the dream
  • You were running to catch someone or something that disappeared on you
  • You found yourself in a lonely alley in a dream
  • You cried before you slept that night
  • You are suffering from depression

What should You do when you wake up from your dream crying

When you wake up from your dream crying, try to remember if any of the above could be the reason why you are experiencing such a dream in your sleep.

In other words, try to check if you had any physical cause of waking up crying, if you can’t find any physical cause,

then it is likely that you just had a spiritual dream.

If you have a physical cause of such dreams, such as depression, or crying before you slept, then you don’t have to worry.

it is probably just an after-effect of your previous sad state before bed time.

But if this is all from the dream you had, then the first thing you need to do is write out all the details of what happened in the dream.

To spiritually interpret a dream that left you crying you must remember what you saw in that dream.

But if you don’t remember, then you need to follow up on the dream spiritually using prayers and spiritual exercises like brief fasting.

Bring out time to pray about it, and pray against any situation of losing someone and losing an important opportunity.

If you are Christian you should use:

Psalms 51: “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.”

Psalm 91: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

These two verses, are prayers you can use to deal with this type of spiritual dream, regardless of if you know the meaning or not.

Your blog quickly became my go-to place for motivation. I cannot thank you enough!

  2. I woke up from a dream crying today … and I usually never dream .. but it was about 2 people one I was very close with and my husband they both turned there backs in me and cheated .. I woke up crying

    1. In that case, you need to pray seriously over the dreams you had, and also watch those two very closely to know if they’re actually having an affair. Next, you should discuss with your husband about the dream and see his countenance towards the whole revelation.

  3. Hi,
Please can someone help me with this dream of crying,I always have this dream of crying in dreams and when I walk up the crying is real, last week I got the same dream crying and this week I still have the same dream crying in my dream when I got up I can feel my self really crying am really confused can someone help me thanks.

    1. First of all, you really have to understand that many dreams are messages, and you have to try remembering the content of your dream. Secondly, no matter what it is that you saw in your dream, always do an immediate prayer with some meditations to back it up. Trust me, you’ll be fine and able to avert the negatives of that particular dream.

  4. I just woke from and found out I was crying from my dream and there was tears all over my eyes. In the dream my family was going to difficulty and there was evil all over our house but someone prayed and chased away all the evil and all of sudden everything changes for us so my purpose for crying in the dream was I was crying and I thanking God for his mercy towards us and me especially but at some point I don’t go to church anymore and I started doubting if there was God, some few months back my mom was sick so after running several test they discovered she has cancer, so I was sad after hear the news and started doubting God. My point is I think in the dream he should me that he’s real and he exist, I don’t know maybe I need a better interpretation.

    1. Chima, I think God just showed you that he exists and he listens to your cries and struggles in life. However, he have also liberated your family spiritually, and probably, he’s also shielded you guys from every other family problems. Pray to the Almighty and ask him for forgiveness and his mercy upon you and your family, most especially your mum.

  5. I just woke up crying like I’ve literally never before. My 5 year old daughters father just recently passed away. He passed on the 7th but his organs including his heart was transferred on Easter Sunday. He was 30 years old and had a pretty difficult life that he’d sometimes try to self heal in all the wrong ways, his days ended from either A. Suicide or B. Homicide. It’s still undetermined and may forever be. 6 months later, tonight I woke up with the most uneasy sick, emotion feeling in my stomach after I woke up crying from my daughters dad chasing me down my old highschools hallway, in my dream I finally found my old locker & some reason felt as if it still had my things in it. When I stopped and my daughters dad caught up to me he was holding a dead snake he had found taunting me with it. So as he dangled it closer and giggle (I don’t truly feel it was him trying to cause me harm) I grew more and more scared leading up to the crying and waking up wailing at 25 years old just wanting to crawl into bed with my dad. 10/10 one of the very worst feelings I’d ever felt in my life.
