How To Feel Positive When You Feel Negative

When we feel positive our energy vibrates higher and this can mean we have a better outlook on life than if we are in a negative state of mind.

Feelings of happiness, bliss and elation are amazing feelings which come as a result of being on a positive vibration, however when we feel negative, the idea of feeling good can sometimes feel like a huge task.

Here are 6 ways to start feeling more positive:

1, Recognition

Recognising your negativity will help you to move forwards faster because you have taken responsibility for your actions and this will allow you to stop and change direction to feel how you truly want to feel.

2, Do Good Deeds

Whether it’s helping an elderly lady cross the road or making dinner for your family, doing something good for other people will only make you feel better about yourself because selflessness shows you care about other people, which will put you on the path to positivity.

3, Don’t Fight The Feeling

Don’t beat yourself up for feeling negative, this will only make you feel worse. Instead accept the negative feelings and have faith that the feeling will pass eventually. This will give you hope that you will feel positive again.

4, Say Nice Things

I am a true believer that there is power in our tongue and what we say to others and to ourselves can have a huge impact on our lives. When we feel negative it can be extremely hard to think of positive things to say, but it is very important to choose to say something uplifting rather than something which might put others or yourself down.

5, Make Better Life Choices

This can relate to a variety of things for example, being in a toxic relationship or overeating on junk food which makes you feel sluggish. Although it is not always easy to walk away from negative situations, in the long run it will be better for you if your life choices were more positive.

6, Change Your Thoughts

By this I don’t mean to control every thought that comes into your head, but the thoughts that make you feel low, try to replace those thoughts with something that will make you feel better. When you practice this on a daily basis it will become a habit and you will start to feel in a more positive light.
